Boilers, gas water heaters
This warranty issued by the manufacturer concerns conformity defects not resulting from imperfect installation and starts from the date of commissioning (first start-up) of the boiler.
The warranty is valid for 24 months for private consumers and in any case for 12 months for commercial and/or professional users.
The warranty starts in the terms indicated above from the date of validation and in any case no later than 12 months from the date of purchase by the user under the conditions listed below:
In order to benefit from the warranty it is necessary that the authorised technical assistance centre sends to TERMOTEK within 30 days from the date of first start-up the warranty certificate filled in in all its parts.
- During the warranty period, the manufacturer undertakes to replace free of charge or to repair, within the established terms, all those parts that in its unquestionable judgement will be defective only due to material and/or construction defects. The defective parts must be sent to the manufacturer by the authorised technical assistance centre using the appropriate form accompanied by the adhesive coupon attached to the product documentation. In case of replacement, the replaced parts remain the property of the manufacturer.
- – At each home call, the user must present the warranty certificate to the authorised technical assistance centre.
- Replacements or repairs of component parts of the product, do not postpone the date of commencement and duration of the warranty.
- The product is installed in a regularly accessible place for ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance operations. Any additional costs necessary to reach the place of installation (scaffolding, elevators, scaffolding, etc…), or installations that complicate its maintenance, both ordinary and extraordinary, will be borne by the user.
THE WARRANTY IS NOT RECOGNISED:
- If the warranty certificate of first ignition is not returned to the manufacturer within 30 days from the date of validation, duly completed and stamped by the Technical Assistance Centre.
- If the authorised Technical Assistance Centre is not presented, for whatever reason, with the validated warranty certificate accompanied by a receipt or equivalent fiscal document proving the purchase.
- If the product is installed by unauthorised personnel and/or in a manner that does not comply with the installation, use and maintenance rules described in the manuals supplied with the product.
- If non-original spare parts are tampered with or used.
- If the forms of payment agreed upon at the time of purchase are not respected.
- If the product is fed with different types of fuels than those provided for
IN PARTICULAR ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE WARRANTY:
- Damages due to negligence in transport and handling.
- Parts subject to normal wear and tear such as: anodes, gaskets, knobs, lamps, indicators, probes, plastic parts, heat exchangers damaged and/or obstructed by limescale or impurities, etc…
- Failures caused by carelessness, negligence in maintenance, tampering, inability to use or repair by unqualified personnel
- Damage due to incorrect installation of the boiler or defects caused by insufficient or inadequate electrical, hydraulic, gas supply or exhaust system, hydraulic overpressure, voltage surges or electrical short-circuits, lack of water in the heating circuit, bad quality of the fuel and in any case due to incorrect adjustments and poor management and maintenance, breakdowns due to scale or dirt, sludge, present in the system, or alterations resulting from environmental, climatic or other conditions, or more generally due to boiler installations that do not comply with UNI-CIG and CEI standards.
- Deterioration caused by poor ventilation of the room, defective draught, dripping condensation from the boiler chimney, frost, accidents due to electrical corrosion.
- Furthermore, the normal maintenance of use, such as the cleaning of filters, nozzles, burners and heat exchangers, and those operations provided for in the boiler use and maintenance booklet and/or the regulations in force (Law 10/91 and DPR 412/93 and subsequent amendments) are not covered by the warranty.
CONDITIONS FOR WARRANTY EXTENSION
For the purposes of the warranty extension, the user is obliged to pay to the Authorised Assistance Centre the amount agreed upon at the time the warranty extension is stipulated, which is extended under the same conditions as the conventional one and only in the case of a private consumer. In conjunction with this extension, it is compulsory to sign the annual maintenance contract, for the entire duration of the warranty period, with the Authorised Technical Assistance Centre, which remains the holder of this contract. Failure to sign such maintenance contract and/or its interruption or default, in the event of non-payment of the amount due by the customer, will interrupt the extension period, in which case no sum relating to the amount paid for the warranty extension will be due.
